Holly Willoughby can't control her giggles as Phillip Schofield makes innuendo about Kelly Brook's 'garden gate'... as model is mocked for informing viewers that plants need water

Kelly Brook has taken on a new role on ITV, as a fledgling gardening enthusiast.

But unfortunately for Holly Willoughby, her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield's penchant for an innuendo or two has left the presenter cracking up once again over the model's green-fingered endevours.

Introducing Kelly's segment on Monday's episode of the show, Phil said: 'After opening up her own garden gate for us all to see her beautiful borders...'

Cracking up: Holly Willoughby's This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield's penchant for an innuendo or two has left the presenter cracking up once again - this time over a Kelly Brook gardening segment

Holly could barely keep herself under control at this, as she was seen tittering next to Phil as he tried to complete his intro.

He carried on, regardless, stifling a laugh: 'Kelly Brook is here to show us the bare necessities you need to become a green-fingered goddess.'

As the segment began rolling, the pair were heard breaking into fits of hysterics at the risque auto-cue script.

Kelly was visiting Jacobean house Bateman's, the former home of Rudyard Kipling and now a National Trust property for the segment, which saw her giving her own tips on cultivating plants.

But this was met with scrutiny, given the fact that she hasn't trained professionally in horticulture, especially when she stated that plants need to be kept watered.

One person took to Twitter to slam: '#ThisMorning honestly that Kelly Brook garden section of the show is s***e! Top tip, water your plants from the top and bottom?? Life changing!'

Another typed: 'This Morning is beyond parody - Kelly Brook presenting a segment on horticulture, then a break, then Phil and Holly meet Britain’s sexiest cow.'

This tweeter was referring to the following segment which saw a couple interviewed whose dairy cow had won a 'beauty contest'.

Others were less offended, however. One person, referring to former Ground Force personality Charlie Dimmock, typed: 'Who would of thought it. Kelly brook turns into Charlie Dimmick. Respect. [sic]'
