The WAG-WAM: Harry Kane's pregnant fiancée sets up a giant teepee in her garden to watch his World Cup heroics (which doubles up as her baby shower)

  • Harry, 24, has already scored five goals in two games to become something of a national treasure
  • Fiancée Katie previously revealed she was unable to watch the game in Russia and was instead watching from home with their 18-month-old daughter Ivy
  • Katie, 25, is thought to be just weeks from her due date and has been sharing pictures of her bump on social media
  • Guests enjoyed a gold-leaf cake, a pram-themed fruit bowl, 'Baby Kane' cake pops and alcohol-free drinks
  • She put up posters of her man, with the words, 'he's one of us' as well as patriotic bunting
  • England and Belgium will play in the World Cup Group G game on Thursday
  • During England’s sensational 6-1 win over Panama, captain Harry Kane scored the first England World Cup hat-trick since Gary Lineker in 1986

Harry Kane's heavily pregnant fiancée Katie Goodland turned her baby shower into a event to support her man, erecting a giant wig-wam in her garden to cheer on the World Cup hero.

The huge tent was covered in patriotic bunting and featured a widescreen TV inside so that Katie and her pals could watch the 6-1 victory from the comfort of their home, as she's thought to be just weeks from her due date.

Having recently called the goalscoring ace her 'King', little wonder as he has already scored five goals in two games, the 25-year-old put up posters of the sportsman in action, featuring the words: 'He's one of our own.'

Copy Katie in a little black dress by Balmain

One of the things we love about the World Cup is the glamorous WAGs.

England captain Harry Kane's fiancée Katie Goodland might not have made it to Russia due to the fact she's expecting their second baby very soon, but she's making up for it by celebrating back home! And besides, she offered us plenty of designer dress inspiration when she attended the Brit Awards with Harry earlier this year.

She chose a Balmain LBD in a luxe lurex fabric, which featured the label's signature structured shoulders and gold buttons. At £895 it's an investment piece, but we guarantee you'll turn to this time and time again so it's worth splashing out. Simply style yours with swept-up hair to make the most of the shoulder detailing.

Or for a more budget-friendly way to get the Balmain look, can we suggest these options by M Missoni, & Other Stories and Forever Unique?

There were also snacks and beers, adorned with England flags and huge comfortable chairs for guests to sit on.

The footballer, 24, and his love are already parents to 18-month-old daughter Ivy and according to The Sun, Katie decided to stay at home with their little one, so that Harry could concentrate in Russia.

She posted a picture of the inside of the wig-wam on Instagram on Monday, writing: 'Baby shower #gamesPJs&films #babyno2 #summerbaby.'

England and Belgium will play in the World Cup Group G game on Thursday in the Kaliningrad Stadium in Kaliningrad, in a match that will determine who finishes top of the group and receives an easier draw from Group H in the last 16.

The Three Lions could go onto face Japan, Senegal or Colombia after Poland's elimination in the fixture, with the easiest of the three believed to be Colombia.

The Kaliningrad stadium was opened in 2018 and will have the larger capacity of 35,212 for the World Cup, but will drop down to 25,000 after the tournament ends.

The result will determine who finishes top of the group. The two teams are currently equal on goals but England have a higher fair play record thanks to receiving only two yellow cards.

Bookies are currently predicting a draw for England in the much-anticipated game with odds of 21/10, while a win is placed at 17/10 and a loss 2/1 according to Betfair.

Following England’s sensational 6-1 win over Panama, in which the captain Harry Kane scored the first England World Cup hat-trick since Gary Lineker in 1986, the mood in England has been positively ecstatic with many taking to Twitter to post that football is coming home.

England became only the fifth team ever to score five goals before half-time in a World Cup match, while Jesse Lingard’s screamer was ranked as the fifth-greatest England World Cup goal by Sportsmail.

And while football has not yet come home, it certainly was on at home, with 14.1 million people watching the match on BBC, with a peak audience share of 82.9 per cent, thought to be one of the largest in history.

England's stellar performance has also led to a huge boost in the team's World Cup prospects, jumping to sixth favourite to win the trophy behind Spain, Brazil, Germany, France and Belgium according to Betfair.

Bookies are also placing Kane as the current favourite to earn the Golden Boot prize after his stellar hat-trick resulted in a tally of five goals in two matches, though Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Belgium's Romalu Lukaku are following close behind with four each.

Fans will be hoping that Kane took inspiration from England legend David Beckham, after a snap emerged of the now-24-year-old as a youngster posing with the superstar in his goal-scoring prime.

The country went wild following the news of England's 2-1 World Cup victory over Tunisia last week, kicking off their campaign with a win for the first time since Germany in 2006.

And while many of the players wives and girlfriends were watching from the stands in Russia, Katie had revealed that she was 'gutted' to miss the big moment.

She praised her husband-to-be as the 'King' at the time, after he scored two goals to award England the win, but added that she was watching the match at home.

In one snap posted to her Instagram stories, Kate - who already has daughter Ivy with Harry - first wished her fiancé and the Three Lions the best of luck, sharing a snap of her TV as captain Kane shook hands with the referee.

She captioned the post with the words: 'Let's go captain come on boys.'

The next snap came after full time, with Katie once again posting a snap of her TV while Kane was being interviewed about their victory.

Adding a King banner to the snap Katie also included a tag with the phrase '#YesBoys.'

Katie went onto reveal that she was unable to attend the match in person, as she posted another image of Kane's elation after scoring the second goal in the dying minutes of injury time.

She wrote: 'Gutted Ivy and I can't be there! But watching from home! We [love] you!'

Harry and Katie are currently expecting their second child, after the Tottenham superstar confirmed the news on Twitter back in January.

He wrote: 'Our beautiful Ivy is going to be a big sister! Exciting times ahead! @KateGoodlandx #bigsister #pregnant #family.'

The couple first announced their engagement in July of last year, when Katie took to Instagram to share some snaps of Kane popping the question on a beach getaway.

In January last year, Harry told Tottenham Hotspur.com about how much fatherhood had changed his life for the better.

He said: 'The whole experience of being at the birth was quite surreal and one of the best feelings in the world, to become a dad. I wanted to be there for Kate and I’m so proud, especially proud of Kate, she was great, amazing. I don’t think you can really put it (the experience of being there at the birth) into words.

'It’s totally different from, say, scoring a goal and the adrenaline rush you get from that. It’s overwhelming really. It’s a miracle the way it all happens and to see a young human being coming into life was just incredible.

“It’s something that changes your life, and changes it for the better.'

So proud: Katie then shared a snap of Harry from the moment he scored the goal, saying she was 'gutted' to not be watching it live with the other wives and girlfriends in Volgograd
