But Nicole Scherzinger didn't at all seem to be phased by the speculation on Tuesday, when she was spotted at LAX.

Dressed down, the 39-year-old songstress who'll celebrate the big 4-0 on Friday, was oozing with style in her monochrome ensemble.

She showcased her long lean legs with black skinny jeans and pointed-toe boots of the same color.

The former Pussycat Dolls star kept a low profile with a fedora hat and large round sunglasses - despite being indoors.

Nicole's brunette locks were styled out straight with very minimal makeup, her plump lips couldn't be missed.

The stunner's visit to the airport comes after rumors have been circling that she won't be returning as a judge of the X Factor UK.

It has been reported that show creator and fellow panelist Simon Cowel has dropped the star in favor of Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field.

'Nicole was a passionate judge but has no contract and won't be back this year in order to bring in fresh blood,' revealed a source to The Sun.

However, an X Factor spokesperson told MailOnline: 'There is always speculation regarding the judging panel. It's too early to confirm the judges for the next series.'

And while Simon will be returning as usual, it's said that Robbie Williams is being drafted in to replace outgoing Louis Walsh, who is leaving for good.

Nicole has been on both the X Factor US and UK between 2011 and 2017.
