They're known for being a stylish couple.

And Gareth Gates, 33, and Faye Brookes, 30, looked as chic as ever while stepping out together in Manchester on Sunday.

The pair were laden down with luggage as they left their hotel, with Coronation Street star Faye juggling four bags.

The actress looked gorgeous in a black mini dress which showed off her toned limbs, and boosted her height with cream ankle boots.

Faye kept her hair and makeup simple, opting to wear her brunette tresses in a tousled style, showcasing her natural beauty.

Meanwhile Gareth went for black tracksuit bottoms and a grey top, revealing his muscular arms as he pulled his suitcase along.

The Pop Idol finalist protected his eyes from the sun in a pair of aviator sunglasses, and wore simple black trainers.

Gareth met Faye in 2012 while starring in West End musical Legally Blonde, and the former Pop Idol star later divorced his ex wife Suzanne Mole, to whom he had been married with for four years.

Gareth denied accusations that he cheated on his wife but revealed in a statement released at the time of the split that the couple 'grew apart'.

Gareth and Suzanne, who had been an item for 10 years, raise their young six-year-old daughter Missy together.

Faye and Gareth were no doubt enjoying the actress' downtime following her intense filming schedule and commitments to Coronation Street.

The brunette's character Kate Connor, who is loved-up with Brooke Vincent's Sophie Webster, is swept up in a secret love affair with Bhavna Limbachia’s Rana Nazir.

Faye narrowly missed out on a British Soap Award nomination for her role in the intense love affair earlier this month, while co-star Bhavna picked up a nod.

The soap star confessed to the Evening Standard it is really important to be 'comfortable' with both of her co-stars as she has to kiss them 'a lot'.

She explained: 'We have to kiss a lot so to be comfortable with her is really important and I can’t take that for granted.'

Faye, who has been a Corrie regular since 2015, divulged she is really proud they are telling 'real stories' on the cobbles.
