Tiffany Haddish stuns in beaded frock at NYC bash following Uncle Drew premiere

It was a fashion slam dunk for Tiffany Haddish as she attended an after-party in New York City Tuesday following the premiere of her new comedy, Uncle Drew.

The 38-year-old actress donned an off-white dress textured with teardrop pearls with matching pointy heels, with her long, lustrous locks parted in the middle.

The motion picture features a number of hoops stars past and present, including Shaquille O'Neal, Lisa Leslie, Chris Webber, Bill Walton, Steve Nash and Kyrie Irving, the latter of whom vexed Haddish when she arrived on set, as he was aged decades in makeup to play the film's titular role - and she hasn't kept up with the league in a decade, anyway.

The If Loving You Is Wrong actress told the Hollywood Reporter Monday, 'When I came to work the first day, they all took pictures with me and stuff.

'I'm like, "Who are these mother****ers?" I didn't realize [Kyrie] was in costume.'

Haddish - who this week was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences - said she turned to co-star Lil Rel Howery to help clarify the identities of her co-stars.

'I was like, "Rel, Rel, what the f*** is goin' on with his neck?" she told the publication. 'He was like, "Tiffany, that's Kyrie." I was like, "Who?" The Los Angeles native said that she quit following the NBA around the time she exchanged vows with now ex-husband William Stewart.

Flaunt your curves in an embellished sheath dress like Tiffany

Tiffany Haddish's star is steadily rising as she is starring in two new movies this year and has a lead role in a TV show called The Last OG.

The LA native attended an after party for her latest comedy Uncle Drew in NYC and she stole the spotlight in this Michael Kors dress.

From the brand's Fall 2018 collection, it won't be on the market until next season, but we can't get enough of the beaded embellishment and classic sheath silhouette. But what we don't fancy is that nearly $13,000 price tag!

That's why we've selected several similar styles in the edit below that won't break the bank. Choose from Connected, Calvin Klein, Adrianna Papell and Parker Black with prices starting at less than $90.

'I stopped paying attention since 2008,' Haddish said. 'Cause I was like, 'Oh I got a man. Then I got divorced, then I got really busy. So I don't pay attention to it, it ain't really my thing.'

Despite her lack of interest in the sport, Haddish said the material in the film inspired her to take the shot. She said, 'I read the script and - this is kinda corny - but something about it makes me feel really good. It's like Space Jam or something.'

Uncle Drew opens in theaters Friday.
