She said: 'Cheryl's really good, she's doing brilliantly. Me and the boys went over the other day actually and caused mayhem, but it's fine, just let them all play together, it's great. It's amazing to see her doing so well.'

Despite turning her hand to acting, rumours about Girls Aloud reforming for their 20th anniversary have been rife.

The pop group - who have, since their split in 2013, been mired by rumours of acrimony - are said to be reforming to mark their forthcoming 20th anniversary.

According to The Sun, the reformation is the brainchild of Cheryl, who came up with the idea and approached good friends Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts about it.

Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding have now reportedly been approached about getting back together, and the wheels are supposedly in motion for a full reunion.

The group were formed in 2002 on ITV show Popstars: The Rivals before splitting in 2013 but now all five members are believed to be in contact for the first time in years.
