It seems there's one guaranteed route to snagging a coveted spot on Bachelor In Paradise - and it isn't being nice.

The first batch of contestants for the upcoming season was announced on Tuesday, and they included the most memorable faces from the most recent seasons.

From the current season of Bachelorette, come Jordan Kimbell and David Ravitz, aka chicken man.

Surely bringing added drama to the show is blonde bombshell Krystal Nielson, who memorably stirred things up during Arie Luyendyk Jr's season of The Bachelor.

They're back: Chelsea, Bibiana and Annaliese are all hoping for love second time round

She will be sure to have plenty to say as she joins former castmates Kendall Long, Chelsea Roy, Tia Booth, Bibiana Juliana, Nysha Norris and Annaliese Puccini, many of whom she has previously clashed on camera.

Completing the female line-up are Angela Amezcua and Astrid Loch from Nick Viall's season.

For the men, Eric Bigger and Kenny Layne from Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette are joined by Kevin Wendt From The Bachelor Winter Games and The Bachelorette Canada.

Bachelor in Paradise, premieres August 7 at 8pm ET on ABC in the U.S.
