Davina McCall has dismissed criticism of her slender physique by sharing another snap of her body with Instagram followers, just moments after the first prompted a wave of negative comments.
The presenter, 50 – a self-proclaimed fitness fanatic – had originally shared a shot of herself in a red floral bikini to best show the results of her gruelling fitness regime on Thursday.
But after receiving a mixed response from followers, with some claiming her increasingly lean physique made her look unwell, Davina posted a second image alongside the first in order to prove she’s anything but.

The post, shared on Monday morning, divided fans, with some unrepentant in their belief that she is too thin.
'I don't normally comment to put anyone down on body shape. If she is happy leave her be but I do feel your very thin. Coller bone is extremely exposed. Chest bones are also visible. I had an eating disorder & had a similar body. Please don't over do it,' wrote one.
While another added: 'We love you sweetheart, but look at your bones! You're looking ill.'

'I can't believe I am posting pictures of myself in bikinis': She shamelessly shared a slew of bikini selfies last summer
Davina boldly claimed she had 'no apologies' as she posted her first bikini snap of the summer last Thursday.
The gym bunny exhibited her astonishing abs in her microscopic two-piece which featured a flirty frill and a busy pattern to grab attention.
Davina touched up her age-defying features with natural make-up and a nude lipstick to highlight her beauty.
The mother-of-three brought a hint of sparkle to her bikini look with two golden necklaces which drew eyes to her ample bust.
Evidently pleased with her appearance, Davina confessed she couldn't believe she was still sharing racy pictures of herself.
She wrote in a lengthy caption on Instagram: 'Hi. It is the beginning of the summer. And this is a (bikini emoji) selfie. And it probably won’t be the last. No apologies.
'Because I cannot quite believe I am posting pictures of myself in bikinis still. I get asked all the time how many times I work out a week. 3 times minimum ... 4 ideally.. 45 mins to an hour.'
Although she is a hardcore fitness fan, the mother-of-three revealed her children are her number one priority above keeping in shape.
Davina and her estranged husband Matthew Robertson raise their three kids Holly, aged 16, Tilly, aged 14, and Chester, aged 11.

'My kids are number one but right behind them at no 2 is how my fitness journey has made me feel.
'If I’m groggy, sluggish, negative it always sorts me out... if you are starting ... start slow.. set small goals.. achievable goals.. you will get to where you want to be.
'I did. And if I did. (after years of yo-yo dieting and binge exercise) You can. #ownyourgoals #fitness #motivation.' (sic)
