But when she was glimpsed enjoying a sunlit stroll in New York City of a Tuesday, Miley Cyrus stuck to a sedate, relaxed ensemble.

The 25-year-old pop act emphasized her trim gams in a pair of black leggings, which she matched to a skintight sleeveless black tank top.

Rounding off her workout gear with a pair of sneakers, she added a splash of color with a largely canary yellow bag and popped on a baseball cap.

The daughter of Tish Cyrus and the delectable Billy Ray Cyrus - he of Achy Breaky Heart one-hit wonder fame - wore her long blonde hair down.

Miley is currently engaged to the hunky Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, who as Chris Hemsworth's little brother also comes from a showbiz family.

Miley and Liam, who became a couple filming the 2009 Nicholas Sparks adaptation The Last Song, have already had a previous broken engagement to each other.

Their first breakup occurred in 2013, but by 2016 they were back on, and they were affianced again by the time that year was out.

In addition to Miley, Tish and Billy Ray share four other children - daughters Brandi, 31, and Noah, 18, and sons Trace, 29, and Braison, 24.

The marriage has not been without its share of hiccups, including a divorce filing in 2010 and another in 2013, but is intact at the time of writing.

Her Happy Hippie Foundation raised upwards of $29,000 within a day for KIND (Kids In Need Of Defense), which among other goals aims to ensure migrant children separated from their families have legal counsel, The Blast reported Tuesday.

KIND's own donation page says: 'Your help could mean the difference between a child who needs protection being sent back to his or her home country where his or her life may be in danger – and the child being able to stay in the United States to live in safety and freedom.'

Miley, who recently starred in Woody Allen's Amazon Prime show Crisis In Six Scenes, recently threw herself into a social media spat with Stefano Gabbana, one half of the world-famous fashion design team Dolce And Gabbana.

When fashion account The Catwalk Italia posted an Instagram collage of Selena Gomez, Stefano commented: 'È proprio brutta!!!' - 'She's really ugly!!!'

Soon after, a fan account on Instagram posted a throwback photo of Miley and Selena, who are both former Disney Channel child stars.

In the comments of that post, Miley addressed Stefano's remark, writing: 'Well what that d*** head said (if it's true) is f***ing false and total bull s***,' and following up by referring to Selena as 'fine as f***'.

Miley and Stefano feuded on social media last year when she expressed opposition to his political views. He and Domenico Dolce, both of whom are gay, spoke out against gay adoption and in vitro fertilization in the Milan-based magazine Panorama May 2015 - but apologized in Vogue that August after a public backlash.
