She's already famous for her adorable wave during official royal engagements, and it seems that Princess Charlotte never misses an opportunity to practice.

Footage has emerged of the little princess, three, waving goodbye to her grandfather Prince Charles and his wife Camilla as they prepared to board their helicopter after a visit to Kensington Palace.

The footage was shared on Twitter by Elad Simchayoff, European correspondent for Israeli Channel 2 news on 22nd June as Charles and Camilla departed for an official visit to Salisbury.

In the background Charlotte, wearing a pink dress, can be spotted watching the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall - wearing a polka dot dress - climb out of their car alongside the helicopter.

Camilla pauses before boarding to give Charlotte - who was standing behind the gate with a member of staff - a cheerful wave.

Then a woman, who appeared to be the children's nanny Maria Borrallo, lifted Charlotte up so she could get a better view, and the young royal started waving them off.

Although Prince Charles can't be seen in the footage, Elad mentioned his presence in his tweet, saying: 'Princess Charlotte waving goodbye to grandparents prince Charles and Camilla after a visit to Kensington Palace.'

At the tender age of three Charlotte is already known for her confident and sunny nature.

She visited Canada with her parents when she was just 16 months old and charmed the watching world as she cheerfully waved to the crowds.

By the time she visited Poland and Germany last July, the youngster was already a pro at royal engagements as she greeted wellwishers, accepted bouquets and even performed her first curtsy.

In April, she delighted fans when she accompanied her father and brother to the Lindo Wing to meet Prince Louis for the first time and began waving as soon as she stepped out of the family car.

Eager to make the most of her moment in the spotlight, she even turned back on the hospital steps to offer a final greeting to the crowds.

And at this year's Trooping The Colour, she melted hearts when royal watchers noticed how she stopped clapping on the Buckingham Palace balcony and copied her great-grandmother the Queen by waving.

Pop your princess in a pink dress by The Little White Company like Charlotte

Princess Charlotte enjoyed a day out at the polo with mum Kate and brother George recently, while the Duke of Cambridge was on horseback on the field.

While the Duchess had chosen a cute blue striped dress for the summery occasion from Zara, she had dressed her daughter in a pale pink pick by The Little White Company. The sweet dress had an all over ditsy floral print and a sleeveless design and she'd paired it with Trotters canvas shoes that allowed Charlotte to play comfortably.

The exact dress is no longer available, but click right to buy the baby version with short sleeves.
