Jack asked Dani to be his girlfriend in emotional scenes, and he admitted that he has even thought about meeting the gorgeous brunette's famous dad.

The big question came about after the couple reached their three week mark together in the villa and being one of the villa's longest standing couple.

He said: 'You mean more to me now. Before I knew I really liked you, but this time it's different.

'I told you, I've really got feelings for you. Honestly, I meant it. I mean it. I really do feel like it's the start of something with us two. Yeah, I do.

'It's weird how I've got to this stage where I'm even thinking about wanting to meet your mum and dad and making a good impression. You are their daughter and I want them to like me because I'll be spending loads of time with you. So I want them to go "he's alright".'

Dani reassured him, admitting: 'I definitely think they'll like you, there's no reason to not like you, is there?'

But despite her assurances, in the Beach Hut, Dani insisted that her dad will always take first place over her relationship with Jack, gushing: 'I hope my dad's happy. Me and my dad, we're still going to go for sushi and that. Because Jack doesn't like that. My dad's got my first place in my heart. And Jack can have the second.'

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
