'At the end of the day it’s not a move I would have done. But look at the success that he’s got out of it and off the back, I can’t complain, I’ve got a Number One hit in loads of countries around the world, so everyone won.

'It’s a shame it had to go that way, but chicken dinner, everyone’s a winner.'

Tulisa had maintained she co-wrote the chart-topping song - which was released in November 2012 and went on to become Britney's first UK number one in eight years - and had planned to feature it on her debut album.

Tulisa helped pen the song under the title I Don't Give A F**k for her album The Female Boss.

She was not only eventually shut out of recording the track but learned that Scream & Shout had been credited to Will.i.am, Jef Martens and Jean Baptiste.

A source previously told MailOnline: 'Tulisa was annoyed when the song was taken from her and given to Britney - especially as she co-wrote it.

'It was set to be one of the big songs on her debut album. She didn’t let it lie, and took it all the way to the courts and has now won. She just wanted to be recognised as the writer of one of the biggest pop tracks of the last decade.'

Returning to music after taking a break from the public eye, Tulisa saw the panel:

'Everyone knows it’s been a bit of journey hasn’t it? I needed that time. I’m growing up, I’ve grown up in the public eye.

Speaking of her time as a mentor to Little Mix on X Factor, Tulisa said she’s very proud of their success.

She said: 'I still get emotional. I saw them on a Brits performance I started crying, sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea.

'When they were first getting together, what was different about them, you get a lot of girls bands coming on and they’re all very sex appeal and look at me... they were very geeky, little glasses and bow ties.

'Someone at the time said you should try and dress them up and sex them up a bit and I was like, "No way – what makes them so relatable is they look like normal girls, with normal problems, real people".'
