Human Ken Doll EXCLUSIVE: Rodrigo Alves goes into self-imposed exile to reclaim his old slim body... as he laments gaining weight after giving up plastic surgery

Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves has gone into self-imposed exile in order to regain the physique he had six years ago.

The 34-year-old told MailOnline that he had struggled to come to terms with gaining weight after turning his back on plastic surgery and liposuction.

The TV star previously spent over £500k on going under the knife, but has decided to work on his diet and fitness instead of having surgery to safeguard his health.

For the better: The TV star said he only looked slim here because he had so much lipo, but he has given it up in favour of a healthy, natural lifestyle

He said: 'I've put on more than two stone and so I have been camping out at my home in Marbella so I can have a break from work, travel and parties.'

Admitting his hectic 'champagne' lifestyle was taking its toll, Rodrigo has been going to the gym and relaxing in the sunshine for the sake of his mind, body and soul.

He said: 'I have been feeling very bloated from all the drinking and travelling and I knew I had to do something.

'I've been eating the right things for weeks now and going to the gym daily. I've even tried rollerblading down the beach. I'm very determined when I want to be.

'I've been giving my face a break from all the make-up, which I need as I have surgery scars to cover up, and I've been getting some vitamin D on my skin.'

Rodrigo said he is under a bit of pressure to look the part due to the amount of money he has openly spent on his appearance.

He said: 'I am something of a poster boy for cosmetic surgery. I've had countless lipo procedures, rib removal and pectoral implants.

'So I can't very well be walking around looking overweight. I need to take better care of myself. I've been taking better care of myself and I feel thinner after a few weeks.'

While Rodrigo said he is feeling the benefits, he added that his intense grooming regime has fallen by the wayside.

He said: 'I have huge black roots in my hair as I am giving it a break from all the peroxide hair dye as it's so dry and brittle.'
