Carlos Lopez Jr, 35, of TV's Operation Repo is found dead in his Los Angeles apartment after 'committing suicide'

Carlos Lopez Jr, 35, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on Sunday. 

Police believe that the Operation Repo star, who had a gunshot wound to the head, had committed suicide. According to a TMZ source, Lopez left a suicide note behind.

His last film was opposite Tom Cruise in the 2017 drama American Made about Barry Seal, a pilot turned drug smuggler turned CIA agent.

Carlos' body was found by his roommate.  He had reportedly shot himself on the terrace of their downtown apartment. 

The paramedics were called but Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The last photo he shared on Instagram was posted on June 21. He wore a Semper Fidelis T-shirt and his caption read: 'Thanks bro for the pic!!! #bestday #sofar #moretocome.'

Carlos was an Army veteran. He served 37 months active duty with the 1st Cavalry, 82nd Airborne, and the 101st Airborne. 

He often posted photos of himself in military uniform. And he also posted images of the soldiers who died in battle with him. 

The Sacramento native studied acting at the The River Stage Theater and landed his first IMDB credit in 2011.

In 2014 he appeared as a SWAT team member in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and a foot soldier in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. 

In 2017 he had a bigger role as a CIA Station Chief opposite Cruise in American Made. 

He has three new projects that were in post production. One was PTSD: An American Tragedy in which he played Victor Martinez.

And Carlos had also worked with Armand Assante on the film Angel Of Death; his role was as the 'Crazy Puppet.'
