Laura Anderson and Wes Nelson took their relationship to the next level as they admitted they had sex on Sunday's edition of Love Island.

However, fans were left somewhat confused after footage of the steamy romp seemed to be missing from the episode, while others think a quick three-second fumble under the covers was the sex scene in question.

It comes as the couple's relationship will be tested on Monday's upcoming show, after the 20-year-old engineer labels Laura, 29, 'ignorant' in a challenge.

The pair have become the second couple to have copulate in the villa, following Eyal Booker and Megan Barton Hanson's passionate session in the Hideaway on Thursday.
