Love Island: Viewers insist 'evil' Megan USED Eyal for sex... sparking debate about double standards between male and female contestants

Love Island viewers were left in a fury on Tuesday night when Eyal Booker accused his former partner Megan Barton-Hanson of using him for sex.

The model was left devastated when the former exotic dancer ditched him due to her feelings for Wes, yet Eyal pointed out that after their various romantic dalliances he felt as though he had been objectified by Megan.

Fans soon swarmed Twitter to throw their support behind Eyal, as they insisted if a male contestant on the show had behaved in the same fashion there would be 'so much more uproar' - particularly given the treatment of love rat Adam Collard.

Megan and Eyal hooked up following her late entry into the show and became the first couple to become intimate after a night in the Hideaway.

Following their night of passion, the couple confessed their union had become entirely about sex and they felt their romance was falling flat with their chat.

On Tuesday night's episode, Megan revealed she had decided to end things with Eyal to pursue a romance with Wes - who was taken by Laura at this point.

A raging Eyal confessed to his pals that he felt he had been 'used' by Megan, which led to mass support from fans who pointed out if a male had behaved in the same fashion fury would erupt - sparking a debate about equality.

'Didn’t like Eyal but feel abit sorry for him now, looks like Megan has just used him for sex to be honest!! #Loveisland... If eyal slept with Megan then said he didn’t wanna be with her anymore everyone would be kicking off way worse saying he used her...

'Megan sat & listened to Laura talk about Wes’ dick & decided she wants some. This girl fully used Eyal for sex & was laughing when eyal said that all she did was touch his dick Laura shoulda kept quiet... Megan’s flat out used Eyal ...

'if that was a male who did that to a female there’d be so much more of an uproar... Ngl Eyal has dodged a bullet with Megan, she literally used him for sex, longed him off when she got bored and she’s a proper nasty girl. Do better eyal #LoveIsland'.

Adam was slammed in the villa when he flitted from Rosie Williams to Zara McDermott - however fans were left in anger when they noted he received much more heat for his behaviour than Megan has been.
