Piers Morgan jokes he might be 'chinned' by Danny Dyer for slamming Love Island star daughter Dani ahead of Good Evening Britain meeting

Piers Morgan has hinted he could be 'chinned' by Danny Dyer for slamming his daughter Dani on Love Island, as they come face-to-face on the post-watershed Good Evening Britain.

Speaking on Wednesday's This Morning, the 53-year-old told presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby viewers can expect fireworks as he and Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid take their show to prime-time.

Piers and Susanna have been preparing to host Good Evening Britain following England's World Cup match against Belgium on Thursday, and the presenter teased the 'complete and utter chaos' set to come as they host the one-off special.

Teasing the upcoming show, Piers told Phil and Holly he's looking forward to the freedoms of hosting after the watershed, joking they were 'words you never want to associate with me on television.'

Susanna added: 'He's promised he's going to be drinking throughout the show. The mini tornado as I mistakenly described him. But he's added something very distinctive to the show.'

The pair then went onto reveal the lineup of guests will include Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, actress Pamela Anderson, wife of England ace Jamie Rebekah Vardy, and actor Danny Dyer.

At odds: Speaking on Wednesday's This Morning, Piers revealed Danny Dyer will be one of the guests on the one-off primetime special, adding that meeting the actor could be 'tense'

Dress to impress like Susanna Reid in Heidi Higgins

She's the doyenne of daytime television... or should we say round-the-clock television now that one-off special Good Evening Britain is happening! But no doubt Susanna Reid's outfits will be just as chic.

Styled as usual by Debbie Harper, Susanna wore a bold colour-block dress featuring gorgeous summery raspberry and coral hues. We love the ruffle peplum detail and fluted sleeves.

It's by Irish designer Heidi Higgins and although it's sold out in this particular colourway, click right to shop the stylish blue version.

Or if it's the bright pink shade and fluted sleeves you're loving, then head to the edit below where we've picked out some similar styles from Hobbs, Dorothy Perkins, Paul Smith and Goat.

And following three weeks of openly slamming Love Island - which currently stars Danny's daughter Dani - Piers said viewers could expect some 'tense' scenes as he comes face-to-face with the EastEnders star.

He said: 'I think Danny Dyer unleashed anywhere in my proximity considering I've been hammering Love Island, I think that could be a bit tense.

Looking at Holly he added: 'You want to see Danny chin me live on TV, admit it?

'There's going to be a moment, when Danny Dyer comes in, that could happen 9:20 on ITV, if that doesn't get you watching nothing will!'

Following a hilarious montage of Piers and Susanna's best moments, the duo then looked back to 2015 when the Life Stories host first joined the Good Morning Britain panel, with Susanna reflecting on the moment she was given the news by show bosses.

She revealed: 'It was that moment when the editor came into the dressing room and shut the room. He told me and I said 'are we live?' and then after we had taken our microphones off I said it's fantastic!'

Piers added: 'It's a bit like with you guys it's all about chemistry, whether you’re judging a talent show, the chemistry has to work, it can be any kind of chemistry, but if you get a chemistry is TV it's magic, the good, bad and ugly.

Taking a poke at Holly and Phil's hilarious 2016 display after arriving to host This Morning following a booze-fulled night at the National Television Awards, he said: 'We've never actually rocked into our morning show flat drunk, we've never gone that far in the mornings, so its all relative isn't it.'

Good Evening Britain is set to air live following one of the biggest nights in English Football, as the Three Lions take on Belgium in their final World Cup group match.

Following two wins the team are already through to the knock-out stages, but a win against the Red Devils could secure an easier draw in the Last 16.

'ITV came to us and said they’ve got the big England game, the whole country would be tuning in, and we thought it would be fun to mix things up, based on the model of the morning i.e. complete and utter chaos,' Piers said.

'It could make all the different, there will still be a lot of drama and chaos. If we were to beat Belgium it will send a shudder down everyone's spine, Whatever happens it's going to be exciting.'

Susanna hilariously added: 'I'm a Crystal Palace fan so I'm not used to this momentum of winning, I’m a survivor in football. We do a lot of breaking news, and it's just that capturing the mood of the nation.'
