David Beckham was dressed to impress as he attended a royal star-studded ceremony which marked The Queen and Meghan Markle teaming up for their second joint engagement in less than two weeks.

Cutting a dapper figure, the footballer, 43, looked delighted as he arrived to the ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday evening in a slick navy suit. 

After greeting the Queen, David was seen getting comfortable alongside the likes of Nicola Adams and Sir Lenny Henry to watch the Duchess of Sussex, 36, and her other half Prince Harry, 33, present awards to winners of the Queen's Young Leaders for 2018.

The Queen cut a typically elegant figure in a striking light green and pink floral number, along with white satin gloves and pearls.

Meanwhile, David refused to forego his smile as he sat alongside boxer Nicola Adams, who was clad in a blue power suit, and suited and booted Sir Lenny Henry, 59.  

Sir Lenny Henry, who recently shed three stone, showed off his slimmed down physique in a suave ensemble. 

Model Neelam Gill looked effortlessly chic as she clad her statuesque figure in a camel coloured suit with belted detailing. 

Tina Daheley, a journalist and presenter, nailed summer chic as she opted for a flowing dress which clashed polka dot print with florals.

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle drew comparisons to her sister-in-law Kate with a curly new 'do, wearing a powder pink dress teamed with a pair of sensible black courts.

The Young Leaders programme, now in its fourth and final year, celebrates the achievements of young change-makers from across the Commonwealth.

This year's cohort, from across 38 countries, have been lauded for working to improve the lives of people across a diverse range of issues from supporting people living with mental health problems to access to education, promoting gender equality, food scarcity and climate change.
