Josh Brolin gets smooch from stepmother Barbra Streisand at LA debut of Sicario: Day of the Soldado

Josh Brolin kissed his stepmother Barbra Streisand at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Sicario: Day of the Soldado.

The 50-year-old actor was snapped with The Prince of Tides leading lady, 76, at Westwood, California's Regency Village Theatre for the debut of his new motion picture, a sequel to the 2015 crime drama Sicario.

The 5ft10 Santa Monica, California native looked dapper in an aegean blue suit over a black button-up top, with his short-cropped brown hair neatly combed to the side.

He also posed in a group shot with Streisand and his dad, James Brolin, as well as his model wife Kathryn Boyd, as the couple are expecting their first child together.

Streisand on Wednesday tweeted that she was 'super proud of [her] stepson,' adding, 'fantastic film and great performance honey.'

It's a sentimental time for the family, as Streisand and James Brolin, 77, will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary this summer. Brolin recently told SiriusXM's EW Radio Spotlight that Streisand has been enthusiastic with tips and advice when it comes to the forthcoming tot.

He said: 'She is really into it and I love that she is into it; I mean, it’s like very typical Jewish grandmother who is saturated by this event - it’s awesome.'

Josh was previously married to actress Diane Lane from 2004 to 2013; and actress Alice Adair from 1988 until 1994. He and Boyd, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, tied the knot in Cashiers, North Carolina in September of 2016.

The actor is expecting his third child, as he's father to son Trevor Brolin, 30, and daughter Eden, 24, both from his marriage to Adair. The baby will be the first for Boyd, 31, who revealed last month she was pregnant.

In Sicario: Day of the Soldado, the Oscar-nominated actor reprises his role as federal agent Matt Graver, who forms a pact with Alejandro (Benicio) amid a drug crisis at the border between the U.S. and Mexico. The film hits theaters Friday.
