Gisele Bundchen shares snap of daughter Vivian in Brazilian soccer jersey as she kicks soccer ball

She's been proudly rooting for her native Brazil during the World Cup.

And Gisele Bundchen, 37, posted a sweet snap of her daughter Vivian in a Brazilian soccer jersey on Wednesday.

In the snap, the youngster, five, showed off a deft touch, and even had a branded yellow and green ball.

'The 12th player is ready! Go Brazil!' the doting mom captioned the sweet snap in Portuguese.

The 37-year-old and her family have obviously been rooting for her native Brazil since the start of the tournament.

The five-time World Cup winners were one of the favourites going into the tournament, but still needed the last day to secure progression into the round of 16 with a decisive 2-0 over Serbia.

Unfortunately for husband Tom Brady, he had to adopt his wife's team for the tournament, as the US did not make it through, giving up their spot to minnows Panama.

Brady of course is more interested in football of a different kind — the one players rarely use their feet — as the star quarterback for the New England Patriots.

The couple also share a son, eight year-old Benjamin.

Gisele's Brazil now have a tough match-up against Mexico in the next round, a country that will have lots of support in her adopted home of the US.

The mom-of-two recently used social media too to apologise for claiming in Vogue that she was 'older, wiser' than younger models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

'I'm sorry that my words in my most recent Vogue article were misunderstood,' she tweeted.

'My intention was simply to express that I come from an older generation and am not technologically savvy. I admire the younger generation and their skill to manage all the added demand of social media.

She added, 'I certainly never feel that I am wiser than anyone, and I believe that we are all learning.'
