She shamelessly stole Wes Nelson from Laura Anderson in Love Island, breaking her love rival's heart.

But viewers of the cult hit show have recalled the interview she conducted before entering the villa as a late arrival.

Admitting that she was planning on stirring things up between the couple, she claimed that one couple she wouldn't touch is Laura and Wes.

She said: 'I wouldn't want to break up Laura and Wes because I can tell they really like each other.'

Having entered the house just ten days ago, Megan decided to tell Wes she liked him after bedding Eyal Booker and ditching him for being just physically attractive.

Before he had even broken things off from Laura she asked him to kiss her.

She then smirked when Laura cried over the split and a day later walked through the bedroom with him to spend the night on the day bed.

Going back on her word: Within ten days of her going into the villa she told Wes she wanted to couple up with him and kiss him behind Laura's back

Backstabber: Laura told Megan she had lost a friend and her man over the betrayal

Are you joking? Viewers were fuming when Wes and Megan paraded their fledgling romance in front of her, walking through the bedroom to go to the day bed together

But viewers of the show branded her a 'robot' who lacks emotion or empathy and said she had gone back on her pre-show interview vow.

One person wrote: 'Megan is proof that some people will fully lie to get what they want.'

Others were annoyed that Zara went in her place as they felt she should be the first person to boot out.

She said: 'You picked Megan over Zara? Nah. I'm actually f***ing fuming.'

Reptilian: Fans likened Megan to a 'snake' over her cold treatment of Laura in the house
