Tamara Ecclestone was given the ultimate birthday surprise by her husband Jay Rutland on Thursday, as they celebrated the heiress' birthday with dinner in Chelsea.

The 34-year-old daughter of Formula One mogul Bernie Ecclestone was the picture of delight as she and Jay joined her sister Petra for the celebratory meal at their favourite Italian restaurant.

Earlier in the day Jay took to Instagram to share a video of the moment he surprised Tamara, greeting her with a room filled with balloons and a mariachi band to mark the occasion.

Stepping out with her husband Jay, Tamara Ecclestone put on a stylish display in a dress by one of her favourite brands!

As the light-hearted music played, Tamara could be seen looking totally elated by the early present, and soon headed into another room where she found another great gift.

Tamara was also greeted by a special breakfast buffet in the video along with her name written in silver balloons, as they celebrated the occasion just a few days after marking their fifth wedding anniversary.
