Tamra Judge admits being 'cautious' with Vicki Gunvalson as they try to repair broken friendship

Tamra Judge after agreeing to work on her friendship with Vicki Gunvalson said she'll be 'cautious' around her.

The 50-year-old reality star during The Real Housewives Of Orange County reunion in November made up with Vicki, 56, during a tearful reconciliation following season 12 of the Bravo show.

Tamra told TooFab on Wednesday that her husband Eddie Judge also hashed things out with Vicki after she spread rumors last season that he was gay.

'It took some time, but Vicki made the right choice to sit down with Eddie,' Tamra said.

'If she hadn't, it would've been really difficult to get close to her again,' she added.

Vicki during the reunion show last November apologized to Tamra and promised 'as God as my witness' to stop spreading the gay rumor about Eddie.

Tamra at the reunion also vowed that she would no longer imply that Vicki was in on the cancer scam promulgated by her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers.

Eddie was willing to meet with Vicki, but Tamra said her 'whole family' warned her to keep away from Vicki.

'I just don't think everybody knows the situation and what went down and how deep it got,' she said.

'It really affected a lot of people in my family, including my children - just the things that were asked to them at school. My family was like, ''Why? Why? Why?'',' she said.

Tamra said her mother who adores Eddie was the hardest to convince that Vicki should be brought back in the fold.

'She just kept telling me, ''Don't ever trust her. Ever'',' Tamra said.

Tamra indicated that trust issues still remain.

'I'm cautious. Let's just keep it at that. Something like that - something at that level - you keep it in the back of your head, but you have to try to move on. And I told myself to try to move on,' she said.

Season 13 of RHOC will premiere on July 16 on Bravo with Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson joining the cast.
