Love Island SPOILER: 'Remorseful' Jack comes face to face with his ex as they discuss 'unfinished business'... as he and 'worried' Dani are forced apart

Jack Fincham comes face to face with his ex, Ellie Jones on Thursday night's episode of Love Island, when he is forcibly separated from girlfriend Dani Dyer.   

And the 'remorseful' contestant is weirded out by the situation, apologising to her for his past bad behaviour, while Dani worries if his head will be turned while back at the old villa, for a woman who 'doesn't eat cheese toasties every night.'

Ahead of the move, Jack , 26, receives a text which states: 'Boys, tomorrow you’ll be heading out on a lads' trip.

Worried: Back at the old villa, Dani said: 'I get really, really happy with someone and then some girl with a nice bum and boobs who hasn’t eaten cheese toasties every night is going to try and sway him. I’d be silly to not worry and I am worried'

'You must get up early and sneak out of the villa while the girls are asleep. You must not discuss this with any of the girls. #wakeupcall #boysontour.'

The following morning, the boys slip away unnoticed, and when the girls rise, their suspicions are immediately raised.

Dani admits she is worried, saying: 'Me and Georgia are the ones that are freaking out the most and we’re the ones that are really getting on with our couples at the minute.

She tells him: 'You shouldn’t have been in contact with me two days before. If I was in your position I wouldn’t keep in contact. You could have gone about things a little bit different'

'Ellie and Laura want new boys. I am nervous, course I’m nervous, I don’t lie. I can’t lie. Oh no!'  

The ladies are right to be apprehensive, as proved when host Caroline Flack makes another unexpected arrival, gathering the girls around the fire pit.

She said: 'I bet you didn’t expect to see me so soon. Shall we have a chat?

'I can imagine it was quite weird waking up without the boys this morning. Well I can reveal that we’ve sent the boys away on a little mini break. To Casa Amor.

'They’re going to spend the next few days getting to know six new girls. I’m not just the bearer of bad news, I’ve also got good news.

'This means that you’re going to spend the next days getting to know six new boys. I hope you like them. You might even want to keep hold of some of them.'

It’s eye candy a plenty as six brand new boys – Jack, Dean, Alex, Charlie, Jordan and Frankie – walk in, and heads are immediately turned. 

With a glint in her eye, Ellie Brown beams in the Beach Hut:

She said: 'I mean! Six new boys. Are you trying to give me a heart attack! I am not laying it on Factor 50 thick. 

'No you’ve got to play it cool, otherwise I’m just going to look desperate. And I’m single so I can’t come across too much.' 

A bevy of beauties – Darylle, Kazimir, Ellie, Charlie, Savanna, and Grace – make their big entrance in the boys' villa, but for Jack, who has declared himself a 'no-go' zone, there’s one face that’s more familiar than most…  

Jack said: 'I see the girls walk in, and I looked at the girl in the red bikini, Ellie, and we’ve got history. And yeah, it’s going to be a bit weird. It’s a bit of a weird situation.

'You don’t expect to have a brand new girlfriend and then the girl that you’ve been sleeping with comes in.'

Dani says to Georgia: 'I know Jack’s my boyfriend and stuff and I trust him but I can’t always pull the wool over my eyes. This always happens to me'

On her mind: Dani looked disheartened following the news as she relaxes by the pool with Samira

Something to say: She headed to the beach hut to talk about how shocked she was that Jack had left the villa while she was sleeping

Ellie is keen to clear the air and seeks Jack out to speak together one on one:

'With Jack, I asked for a word. It was the elephant in the room. We obviously had to talk about it. So I just thought I wanted to clear the air with him.'

As they get reacquainted though, it soon becomes clear that for Ellie there is some unfinished business.

She said: 'I do feel a bit awkward, it’s a weird situation.'

Jack responds: 'I spoke to you not that long ago.'

She adds: 'Two days before you came here. I have got a bone to pick with you. You could have left things with me a little bit different. 

'You shouldn’t have been in contact with me two days before. If I was in your position I wouldn’t keep in contact. You could have gone about things a little bit different.'

Smiling: The lads all mingle with the new girls - but are all the formed relationships safe? 

Remorseful, Jack responds: 'I could have done, and I’m sorry.'

Jack admits that he’s not expecting a positive reaction from Dani when she finds out who he’s sharing the villa with:

He said: 'I don’t think Dani’s going to be best pleased that I spent a few days in the villa with a girl that I’ve been seeing previously. I wouldn’t be happy either.'

Over at the other villa, Dani’s head is racing as she speculates on the possibility of Jack’s head being turned:

She said: 'I know Jack’s my boyfriend and stuff and I trust him but I can’t always pull the wool over my eyes. This always happens to me.

Ahead of her appearance, the customer service and office administrator revealed that she spoke to Jack, who is officially going out with 22-year-old Dani on the show, two days before he flew to Mallorca.  

Keeping it a secret: Jack is forced to leave the villa to move into Casa Amor, without telling Dani he is going 

Speaking initially about her relationship history, she shared: 'I have a few exes – one was a boy I was with when I was very young and it was on and off for ages. 

'My relationship with my other boyfriend ended about a year or two ago and we’re really close friends now. 

She then confessed: 'I was seeing Jack Fincham on and off. We met in August 2016 and dated on and off for a while. We have always spoken because we got on so well.

'I actually spoke to him as a friend about two days before he went into the villa and had no idea he was going on the show!' 

Although insisting that they were never officially together, she admitted that their romance was serious enough to meet his friends and family, before confessing she would 'never go back there'. 

'We weren’t in an official relationship but we spoke about it, would go on dates and kept trying to make it work but it wouldn’t,' she added. 'I met his brother and mates.

'I don’t know how he’ll feel when he sees me walk in. I don’t know if he’ll be angry or shocked but we do get on so hopefully it won’t be an issue. When I look at him, I do still think there is something there but I would never go back there. ' 

It was previously reported Jack's manager's ex girlfriend Keeley Maguire was lined up for the show, however it seems that the salesman's former flame Ellie will be the one who is entering the villa. 

It comes after viewers were left in tears on Sunday after watching Jack's speech asking Dani to be his girlfriend. 

Pulling her to one side, he said: 'I just feel like if anyone came in here I wouldn't even bat an eyelid. 

'I've been thinking how we have been how we progress together. I'll be honest with you, I haven't felt like this in ages. I meant it when I said I want you to meet my mum and my family.

What will happen? Samira and Sam have recently hit it off but could this be the end for them?

'I want us to walk out of the villa together, will you be my girlfriend'. To which Dani responded 'yes!' 

Later, she said in the Beach Hut: 'I just feel so lucky, I can't believe it, I'm actually in shock. What a way to end the day honestly, I feel overwhelmed by it all'. 

Following the speech, fans took to Twitter, with one writing: 'Love Island melted my heart tonight the world needs more jack and Dani’s, hope they win', while another typed: 'How cute are Jack and Dani, genuinely cried when he asked her to be his girlfriend. Such a lush couple.'

Other couples who will be separated are Megan and Wes, Georgia and Josh and Samira and Sam.

Viewers will no doubt be wondering if Adam's head will be turned a day after Zara left the villa but has vowed to wait for him after falling in love. 

Love Island is on ITV2 tonight at 9pm. 

Will he remain true to her? Josh confirmed to Georgia on Wednesday night that no other girl can compete with him - so that is all set to be put to the test?
