When Roger Waters took to the stage and performed some of the most memorable songs from Pink Floyd’s albums Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977) and The Wall (1979) they felt as pertinent as when they were written, their anti-establishment, antiwar sentiments as relevant as ever.

The first half of Waters’s mammoth 22-song set list featured classics including Time mingled with offerings from his recent album Is This the Life We Really Want? Those who have previously seen him in action will know what an overload to the senses his concerts can be. During the summer of 2013 Waters brought The Wall Live to the Aviva, an awesome spectacle of sight and sound.
