Zayn Malik debuts new silver and blue hair color while stepping out in New York City

These days he's equally known for his singing abilities as he is for the amount of times he changes his hair.

And Zayn Malik was at it once again on Thursday when he debuted his new locks.

Leaving his violet-do behind, the 25-year-old was seen around New York's NoHo meeting friends with a silver/blue look.

Zayn wore a artistic T-shirt that drew attention to his various tattoos.  

He paired his colorful shirt with plaid trousers and accessorised with Roxanne Assoulin bracelets - one that girlfriend Gigi Hadid custom designed for him. 

The Dawn Til' Dusk singer completed his funky look with red socks and blue Nike shoes.

We're not sure if Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are still a couple but we do know they're borrowing each other's clothes.

Well at least Zayn was wearing Gigi's tee as he stepped out in New York yesterday. It's from the artist Peter Max' collaboration with classic denim brand Wrangler and we love its psychedelic print.

The former One Direction singer styled his hair scruffily.

And it appears as though Gigi was a fan of the new look.
