They celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary in January.

And while enjoying a getaway to Italy this week Cameron Diaz and musician husband Benji Madden were the picture of contentment as they took a stroll around a park in Florence.

The couple were pictured before the headed for dinner together with Cameron looking lovely in a black tank top and patterned A-line skirt.

The 45-year-old Holiday star had her hair swept back and sported stylish oversize sunglasses.

Completing her casual summery look was a pair of nude flip-flops.

Benji, 39, opted for his trademark dark hues in a sporty sweater and baggy shorts with sneakers.

Retiring from Hollywood certainly seems to agree with Cameron as The Other Woman star looks happier and more relaxed than ever.

This year, she described herself as 'actually retired' in an Entertainment Weekly retrospective interview about her 2002 film The Sweetest Thing.

She was looking back on the movie with her co-stars Selma Blair and Christina Applegate, and the subject of a potential reunion came up.

'I'm literally doing nothing, too! I'm semi-retired, I haven't worked for years. I'm a mom, that's what we do. So I'm around, man,' said Christina.

Cameron piped up: 'That's so awesome. I'm totally down. I'm semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired, so I would love to see you ladies.'

Benji has an identical twin called Joel, who on top of also being in Good Charlotte performs in a double act with his sibling called The Madden Brothers.
