Yet it appears as though Sheridan Smith could already be secretly married as she stepped out with an extra diamond wedding band on her finger during a visit to the BBC studios in London on Friday, after previously just wearing her engagement ring.

The actress, 37, appeared to be in fine form as she headed to Chris Evans' breakfast show and couldn't resist flashing her enormous sparkler, while later on in the day she also showed off another twinkling ring.

The Gavin & Stacey star couldn't resist smiling, waving and chatting to her adoring fans who were waiting outside.

She looked trim wearing a simple black fleece top and blue skinny jeans as she waved to those waiting and completed her look in cream wedge trainers.

While on the show, Sheridan spoke about Jo Brand's important mental health message in Jo Brand's film The More You Ignore Me.

She said of the film, which is set in the 80s: 'You don't want to make the subject too heavy... It's an important subject which is not spoken about enough.'

Chris admitted that he had seen it and had both laughed and cried in equal measure - adding that he had really enjoyed it.

Meanwhile, Sheridan proved to have found her happy ever after earlier this year, when she became engaged to toyboy beau of two months Jamie Horn in May.

The new couple were first spotted together in March, and Sheridan revealed she had a new man in her life soon after - seemingly alluding to her new beau Jamie during a performance at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The following week she crooned out Rufus Wainwright's Dinner at Eight on stage in Cardiff, telling the crowds: 'Right that song — that was my fella's favourite. Oh, did I not tell you? I've got a fella.

The actress also previously dated The Late Late Show host James Corden, 37, after they appeared together on Gavin and Stacey.
