Malia Obama has been spotted strolling the streets of New York City in the blistering heat with a male friend.

The former first daughter sported a crop top t-shirt, high-waisted jeans and white sneakers while roaming Greenwich Village on Saturday.

Alongside her was an unidentified male friend in sunglasses wearing short black shorts and a striped button up shirt.

The pair trotted along the sidewalk and were seen sharing a laugh.

Her long locks are a new look from her former braided hairdo earlier this month

Malia's long locks blew in the wind as the temperature Saturday hit the 90s in New York.

This is unlike her previous look earlier this month when the teen stepped out with long braids.

The 19-year-old is on summer break from Harvard and seems to be using the time to visit her old stomping ground in Manhattan, where she held an internship with the Weinstein Company last summer.

She is expected to be returning to the IV-league school in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this fall as a sophomore.
