Frustrated passengers have shared images of travel disruption and packed carriages, with dozens of Gatwick Express, Thameslink and Southern journeys to and from London Victoria cancelled due to the fault in Streatham. Network Rail urged people not to use those operators for travel from the south into the capital, and long queues for buses built up as many passengers tried to travel from closed stations to the unaffected Underground network. But Southern has warned passengers that 'disruption will continue until at least 7am tomorrow', meaning further chaos for commuters and those heading to the Wimbledon Championships in South West London.
