Downton Abbey star Rade Serbedzija arrested for DUI in LA as police 'found open bottle of whiskey'
Downton Abbey star Rade Serbedzija has been arrested for DUI according to a new report.
The 71-year-old actor was behind the wheel of a Lexus which was swerving all over the road nearly hit several cars per TMZ on Saturday.
Santa Monica law enforcement officials told the publication that he was then taken into custody on suspicion of DUI after finding an open bottle of whiskey in the car.

The police also report that the actor had shown signs of intoxication.
TMZ also reported that their sources said the field sobriety test that was done did not go well and that the actor had blown over the legal limit.
Serbedzija portrayed Prince Kuragin in season five of the historical drama series back in 2015.

The actor was born in Croatia and has had quite the career with nearly 200 credits to his name.
He has been acting for over fifty years beginning his career in 1967.
Aside from Downton Abbey, he has also starred as a villain in Taken 2 and Mission: Impossible II.

Serbedzija also starred as wandmaker Gregorovitch in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows: Part 1 back in 2010.
He is set to star as Nikola Tesla's father Milutin in biopic Tesla: Beyond Imagination.
He has five children including filmmaker son Danilo and actress daughter Lucija Serbedzija.
