In mid-June the actress revealed she had been 'torn from work against my will' and sent to hospital in an Instagram snap she shared on National Selfie Day.
'Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle or feelin' cute. This time for #NationalSelfieDay, I've decided to share my truth. As painful as it is,' she wrote.
The actress wore a dark green eye mask across her forehead and still managed to look beautiful despite her woes.
'So here is my face that was torn from work against my will,' she added. 'But I'm very grateful it was. Health should always come first.'
Sarah suffers from kidney dysplasia, a condition that occurs when one or both of a fetus' kidneys do not develop normally, and has always been candid on social media about her health battles.

'Sarah had a scare and was hospitalized,' a source told People reported at the time, 'It was scary but thankfully she is better and is home.'
The source added that the 27-year-old's friends, family and beau Wells Adams — who is in Mexico filming Bachelor In Paradise but said he would be 'home soon' to comfort her — have been supportive.
Hyland also said she's 'looking forward to getting back to work next week,' currently shooting the 10th and final season of the ABC hit Modern Family, which returns for its last hurrah Fall 2018.
