Fantasy Scroll Mag 180

About

Fantasy Scroll Mag is a bi-monthly publication featuring science fiction, fantasy, horror, and paranormal short-fiction. Our mission is to publish high-quality, entertaining, and thought-provoking speculative fiction. What does it mean? High Quality – we are looking for well written stories, featuring grand characters involved in interesting plots. Entertaining – We want the readers to enjoy your stories. They should be taken on a journey to places they have never imagined and return to reality filled with satisfaction and joy. Thought-Provoking – Last, but not least, we are also looking to publish stories that give a different perspective on various aspects of life, stories that make the readers raise a brow and go ‘Hmmm… that’s an interesting thought.‘The magazine also publishes one annual anthology containing the best stories from each year, as voted by the readers.
NONFICTION: We want interesting articles that are related to science fiction, fantasy, horror, and paranormal. These could include relevant book and movie reviews, analysis of the publishing business, descriptions of conferences, and so on.

Before Submitting

We cannot guarantee that the information on this page is correct. It is not unusual for publications to evolve or close without notice. We do our best to keep up, but it isn't always possible. Just remember…

  • Always read the full guidelines provided by the publisher.
  • Try to read at least one previous publication to get a better idea of what the editor would like to see.
  • Unless the publisher's guidelines state otherwise, always use industry standard manuscript formatting.
  • For novel/collection publishers, it is standard to submit a cover letter, synopsis, and sample instead of the full manuscript. Do this unless otherwise instructed.
  • Include a SASE with all mailed submissions, queries, and requests for guidelines, unless the editor replies via or email or guidelines state otherwise.
  • Be professional, patient and persistent.
