Tina Fey, 48, is youthful in black dress as she joins Idina Menzel and Audra McDonald for a concert to aid migrants

She made her Broadway debut last year when she bought her big screen success Mean Girls to theaters. 

And now Tina Fey made her return back to the stage for a benefit concert raising money for migrants on the Mexican border on Saturday

The 48-year-old joined forces with some of the nation's top stars including Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel and Chita Rivera at The Great Hall at The Cooper Union in New York.

Tina opted for a modest black mini dress that featured floral detailing. 

The TV veteran completed her look with pumps of the same color.

The comedienne had her short brunette locks styled out and into loose waves.

Her makeup was kept natural with a healthy sweep of blush and nude lip.

The event, which was organised by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, saw the duo text as many stars they could think of after seeing photos of children separated from their families. 

'Seeing the images, we were really depressed,' said James on Friday.

The concert that was streamed via Facebook Live and ConcertsforAmerica.com saw quite the line-up.

The incredible vocalist opted for a black dress and had her hair slicked back into a top knot. 

Her makeup was radiant and she accessorised her performance look with hooped earrings.
