Love Island: Caroline Flack's 'cringey' strut leaves fans in hysterics as they compare her to Beyoncé and even a Disney villain during her villa entrance

She jetted to Mallorca to host the new recoupling, which swiftly became the most explosive of the series so far.

But despite the drama, Love Island fans were somewhat distracted on Monday night - by Caroline Flack's 'cringey' strut into the villa.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to blast her 'irritating' walk, and compared her to both Beyoncé and even a Disney villain after her slow-motion entrance was aired onscreen.

Monday night's episode forced each girl to choose whether they wanted to stick with their original partners, or couple up with one of the new boys.

As host of proceedings, Caroline was seen heading to the villa to deliver the bad news to the islanders - looking typically chic in a chic pink off-shoulder dress.

However, fans immediately became distracted by her 'embarrassing' strut into the villa - with her entrance put into slow motion, to draw attention to her sassy walk and hair flick upon arrival.

Clearly unimpressed, viewers wrote on Twitter: 'Don't think there's anything more cringey than caroline flack's walk on #LoveIsland' and 'Cringe! Why does Caroline walk in like that? or is it just me.' 

Others urged her to stop making her entrance more glamorous than it really is, adding: 'The face and the walk on Caroline flack every time she walks into the villa makes me cringe. Calm down Beyoncé hun'

Further fans were more light-hearted in their critique, joking: 'Caroline and that strut she’s gonna break the concrete soon lmao' 

And: 'I love watching #loveisland on catch up. Mainly so I can forward Caroline Flacks walk up to normal speed.'

While others hoped she will make a mistake in the future, adding: 'Imagine if Caroline Flack tripped up on slow motion on the way in to the villa' and 'I wonder how many takes it takes for Caroline to get that walk right...' 

However, a number of other fans rushed to the presenter's defense, and claimed she was inspiring women to be more confident and sexy.

Adam Collard caused a stir by coupling up with Darylle Sargeant - his fourth partner in four weeks, just five days after former lover Zara McDermott jetted home. 

Wes Nelson then learned that what goes around comes around as Megan Barton Hanson, who he unceremoniously dumped Laura Anderson for, chose to recouple with 'real man' Alex Miller. 

Most dramatic of all however was Josh Denzel's decision to pair up with Kazimir Crossley - leaving former partner Georgia Steel heartbroken, as she had remained loyal to him in the main villa. 

Explaining his decision, he even left Caroline speechless by revealing: 'I went into Casa Amor and thought if I get my head turned it has to be someone sensational and blow me away.'

While clearly upset, Georgia was subsequently praised by fans for her 'dignified' nature, and for not losing her cool over his blunt words.
