Jeremy McConnell has publicly revealed he is fighting to see his son Caben-Albi, after ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis cut off access.

The 28-year-old Irish model told The Sun he has already begun taking legal action against his former partner in a bid to see his 18-month-old son.

Jeremy went onto say that since his recent battles with drug and alcohol addiction he has turned his life around, and is now in a bid to gain shared custody of little Caben.

In the interview he said: 'It's extremely upsetting that Stephanie has continually chosen not to engage with my team and follow the appropriate channels to arrange in time access with our son.

'Since last year Stephanie has continued to paint a picture of me that is wholly inaccurate and gives a perception in public, the press and online that I don't want to see Caben.

'All I want is for our son to have me back in his life.'

Stephanie and Jeremy's relationship has been nothing short of turbulent ever since they first met in the Celebrity Big Brother house in January 2016.

Jeremy was charged for domestic violent in August 2017 after being accused of assaulting Stephanie in a drug-fuelled row, and was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and 200 hours community service.

Stephanie was also given a three-year restraining order against her ex, after welcoming their son Caben-Albi in January last year.

In the interview, Jeremy went onto reveal he has been in contact with a lawyer about gaining joint custody of little Caben, saying he has turned his life around after giving up drugs.

He also claimed that Stephanie had made little effort to contact him regarding seeing his son, adding that he looks forward to the moment he can be a dad to his little boy again.

Jeremy had spoken about a want to see his son during an appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show in March, admitting that his life spiralled out of control following the death of his father.
