'I feel the need...': Miles Teller joins Tom Cruise as Goose's son in Top Gun: Maverick
Only the Brave star Miles Teller has signed on to play the son of Maverick's (Tom Cruise) late wingman and BFF, Goose (Anthony Edwards), in Top Gun: Maverick.
On Monday, the 31-year-old Sundance Jury Prize winner confirmed he was the new co-pilot on Twitter by quoting the famed Top Gun line: 'I feel the need...[for speed].'
The NYU Tisch grad managed to beat out Nicholas Hoult (Sand Castle) and Glen Powell (Set It Up) for the role in Oblivion director Joseph Kosinski's testosterone-fueled sequel.
