She looked glamorous in a black gown for the premiere of her new HBO mini-series Sharp Objects, which kicks off next Sunday.
But this Sunday, Amy Adams was very dressed down as she was spotted with husband Darren Le Gallo and their daughter Aviana while hiking in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
With the temperature at a sizzling 90F, the family was suitably dressed for the weather and carried plenty of water.

Amy, 43, wore a white T-shirt with the graphic image of a skull on the front which she teamed with cropped, grey marl leggings and sneakers.

She popped a baseball cap over her strawberry blonde tresses and wore sunglasses to protect her eyes against the bright sunshine.
Actor Darren, also 43, wore a sleeveless grey T-shirt and khaki shorts plus sneakers.

Like his wife, the silver fox sported a baseball cap and shades.
Meanwhile, Aviana looked adorable in a white T-shirt with a sea-green teddy bear on the front and a swing mini-skirt in similar colors.
The eight-year-old's blonde hair was smoothed back into a ponytail and she wore a sun visor to block out the sun.

It's a change of pace for Amy and Darren who were in Los Angeles for the premiere of Sharp Objects last Tuesday and then jetted to New York City for a screening and conversation about the miniseries on Thursday.
Based on Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn's bestseller, Sharp Objects is a psychological thriller.
Amy plays Camille Preaker - a reporter recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She is trying to solve the murder of two young girls while coping with her own problems.
