Love Island: Jack's ex reveals he has a POSTER of girlfriend Dani's dad above his bed... as he defends himself over claims 'it's a Danny Dyer SHRINE'

They have cemented their status as the Love Island golden couple.

And once again, Dani and Jack's romance stole the show on Tuesday evening as she was forced to go for a Bucks Fizz date with his ex-flame Ellie, who revealed he had a poster of her famous father Danny Dyer above his bed.

Left red-faced, Jack was disgruntled at the news that his girlfriend was made aware of the image from the hardman's 2004 movie The Football Factory as he was forced to defend himself and insist it was not 'a shrine' to her father.

Dani was left devastated when she realised Jack's ex had entered the villa last week while they were separated in Casa Amor, however upon his return he soon dismissed her concerns and they were back to their loved-up state.

Throwing a spanner in the works, producers sent Ellie and Dani on a date where they discussed Jack's former 'f**k boy ways' before she revealed the poster.

Dani appeared bewildered by the news and voiced her concerns over going to bed with a boy while having an image of her father looming above her.

Once she was back in the villa, while discussing the date with Jack, she said: 'Ellie said something else right, she said you've got a poster above your bed a film.'

Jack seemed both stunned and angry as he said: 'It's not a poster, it's a canvas. I've had it for years, it's my brother's. I feel like you're trying to mug me off...

'She's trying to make out I have some sort of shrine of Dani's dad above my bed like I sit at night and pray to it. She's making out I'm some sort of weirdo.'

Making light of the situation, Dani said: 'Why you taking it so personally? It's funny', before he responded: 'I don't want her to come in here and make out I'm such a weirdo. It's ridiculous. It's stupid.'
