Amelia Gray Hamlin is back on vacation in Mexico... after bravely revealing three months ago she had 'overcome an eating disorder'

It was only three months ago that she shared bikini photos on the beach from her family vacation to talk about her body confidence after overcoming an eating disorder.

And now Amelia Gray is back on vacation again.

The 17-year-old took to Instagram to share two photos from the strand. It is likely she is once again in her favorite country: Mexico.

Stay in the shade with Amelia's baseball cap

The Hamlin girls are tapped to be the next Hadids, so we're not surprised to see them taking their style cues from the famous modeling sisters.

So there was no chance Amelia was going to skip out on the ubiquitous athleisure trend especially when it comes to this perfect sports-luxe accessory.

We spotted her staying in the shade while on holiday in Mexico, capping off her black bikini with a tonal hat that features to the Balenciaga logo emblazoned across the front.

She's a big purveyor of the athleisure trend in general and baseball caps tie into this popular aesthetic perfectly. So if you're thinking of giving it a go, why not start with your accessories!

The first image was captioned, 'Armpits always pulling through.' She wore a red top and white briefs.

And in the next image she had on a black two piece. 'We back,' she typed into the caption.

Also on vacation with her is sister Delilah who posed with her dog on the beach in an Instagram photo that was captioned, 'Loves first beach day.'

In April, she brought up her past eating disorder because she wanted to raise awareness.

The daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin made the admission on Instagram while shared photos of herself in a red bikini.

The budding model looked very healthy as she posed at the One & Only Palmilla resort in Mexico.

The cover girl began her post: 'I feel comfort with finally posting something that I wish I was confident enough to post long ago.

'I’m getting many comments comparing my body today vs. my body last year. I think that the support from my followers has really pushed me into writing this.'

She continued: 'Anyways, last year at this time there was no doubt that I was not okay. Not only physically but also mentally. I feel like sometimes people forget that just because your job involves being in front of the camera, doesn’t mean you can’t have bad days. We’re human. All of us.'

The LA resident then went even deeper: 'Instead of people ever commenting on my mental stability, people commented on my weight.

'Usually, when people are struggling with an eating disorder it stems from your mind, and your body is a reflection of it.'

Amelia clearly has gotten a lot of help because her message is clear: 'I could go on and on about that time of my life, but the most important part about it was waking up one morning and deciding to stop sabotaging myself. My health, my physical health, my mental health and everything about myself.'

And she said she is much better now.

'Once I got the help that I needed, shortly after the second photo was taken, I began to try to love myself for me.'

Her first photo in that red bikini had a goofy caption.

The next was 20 times the length.

'I am SO beyond humbled and grateful to have the platform that I do at such a young age, and to wake up every morning with a little girl reaching out to me and telling me I am her inspiration, really makes me feel like I have a purpose,' said Gray.

She added: 'I went through this journey not for attention, not for people to pitty me, but to help. I am on this earth to help people, and I know that.

'One in 200 women in the US suffer from anorexia. And I want to help. The first photo, taken today is not a photo of the perfect girl. That is a photo of me, trying to figure out my body, and owing my curves that I naturally have, and not forcing myself to starve them away.'

Shen then said: 'I have a lot of health complications after starving myself for so long so it’s going to be a journey that I go through for a large part of my life.

'I still have an extremely healthy life style and I workout so hard all week to maintain my Body. Not to say that recently being diagnosed with hashimotos has also been an extreme challenge for me to balance when still getting over this part of my life, but I am getting there. One day at a time. I want to help.'

Her fans were very supportive.

Daria wrote, ' I’m sorry you’re going through all this, I know how hard and terrible it is, and how difficult it can be to overcome. But this post is very powerful, thank you for sharing your experience and I hope it only gets better from here, for all of us that are struggling .'

And Mildren White added, 'Beautiful written.'

Sassy Sue then said: 'You are an inspiration too all women love your positive nature.'
