He headed into Casa Amor a day after his romantic interest Zara McDermott left the villa - falling straight into the arms of new girl Darylle.

And Adam Collard, 22, then officially recoupled with her on Monday night's show, shocking the other housemates, telling Darylle Sargeant, 24, in the bed that he didn't care how his bad behaviour was perceived.

But in a dramatic U-turn on Wednesday night's show, Adam will be accused of going cold on Darylle as he hints he wishes he wants Zara, 20, back, (despite not leaving the villa when she did).

Make your mind up: Adam said he was devastated when his partner Zara was voted off the island, (although he didn't leave with her) and it didn't take him long to look for love elsewhere

He said: 'Me and Darylle get on well, she’s hot. But I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t still feelings there for Zara. I did really like her.

'Honestly I thought if I went to Casa Amor and threw myself into someone I would just forget about it. But I definitely have feelings for Zara.'

In the Beach Hut, Darylle said: 'I think Adam has been a bit quiet the past couple of days and I definitely have noticed a difference between how he and I have been.

Ouch! Adam has earned himself something of a love rat reputation which he said he doesn't mind having (pictured with Zara before she left)

'He was pretty full on and he was saying lots of lovely things while we were in the other villa and I’ve not seen a lot of that in here.'

But things all come to a head when Adam says he DOES still have feelings for Zara - but is still willing to try and make a go of things with Darylle.

He said: 'I know that you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been quite distant which I know I have been. When I was at Casa Amor my head was into meeting new people. The last time I was here [in the main villa] I was with Zara.'

Darylle responds: 'It’s been really awkward coming into this environment. You brought me here and I’ve seen none of you at all.'

Adam said: 'I just want you to know I do think you’re lovely and I’m open to getting to know you. It’s just weird right now for me. My head is a bit all over the place.'
