And Friday night's episode of Love Island is only set to shock further as the follow-up from the departures sees Georgia, Ellie, Laura and Megan all locked in shocking arguments in the wake of their pals leaving the villa.

While Laura and Megan's altercation is to be expected, due to slurs in the previous episode, fans were left baffled as to why Georgia was threatening Ellie.

On Thursday night, Adam Collard and partner Darylle Sargeant, along with Alex Miller and Ellie Jones were axed from the ITV2 reality show.

During a pool party, in which DJ Tom Zanetti played the tunes, the Islanders were instructed to gather around the fire pit immediately, after which Josh received a text which read: 'Islanders the public have been voting for their favourite couple'.

As it was revealed it was up to Georgia and Wes who would be kicked out, after much deliberation, Georgia coupled up with Sam and Wes decided to couple with Megan saving these two Islanders from being dumped.

In a snippet from Friday's show, Megan is seen confronting Laura after her then-partner Alex M told her that the Scottish beauty claimed her former beau Wes was 'too good' for Megan - leading to a shocked reaction.

After Megan 'stole' Wes, Laura was enraged at her 'double standards' after Megan said: 'Why act like my friend to my face?'

This question sparked a reaction from Laura, who said: 'Why and act like my friend and try and get with the guy that I'm seeing. Don't f***ing double-standard me.'

Cutting to the other furious row in the episode, Ellie and Georgia were seen rowing as the latter told her to 'f***ing pipe down'.

Swarming Twitter following the teaser, fans were left scratching their heads as to why the girls would be angry due to having no history of fall-out.

Fans speculated that Ellie's anger came in reaction to Georgia's decision to couple up with Sam - leading to the departure of their friend and show original Adam C - who left the show with Darylle while excited about being reunited with Zara.
