POZNAN PHOTO DIPLOMA AWARD 2019 is the 4th edition (2011/ 2013/ 2015) of an international competition organized by the University of Arts in Poznan with the objective to showcase and promote the best BA and MA diploma works in photography from all over the world.

Poznan is the most important centre of photography education in Poland. Photography has been taught here since 1919. University of Arts in Poznan can now be proud of 30 years of intensive experience in modern photography education.

The fourth edition of POZNAN PHOTO DIPLOMA AWARD gives the participants an opportunity to show their work to wide public and professionals.

Winners will be traditionally chosen by an independent international Jury consisting of experts on contemporary photography – photo festival directors, critics and curators.

It is a great opportunity to win an international recognition of one’s artwork, to be a part of a widely visited exhibition and meet young photographers from all around the world.

It is also an interesting platform for art-schools teaching photography to meet and compare their teaching methods and results.

The Award ceremony will be followed by a Portfolio Review with the Jury members, open for the Finalists.

The PPDA winner gets a cash prize and is invited to present a solo exhibition during the next edition of POZNAN PHOTO DIPLOMA AWARD in Poznan! All finalists’ works are presented during the PPDA exhibition in Poznan (earlier editions also in Lille, France) and on the PPDA website.

The fourth edition exhibition will be also followed by a catalogue.


The PPDA 2019 exhibition will take place in Poznan 8.03 do 7.04. 2019.

Application Call will be open around the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019.
