- Mel B, 43, and Stephen Belafonte appeared at LA Superior Court on Monday for a five-hour hearing over visitation rights and financial issues
- Mel filed yet another restraining order against Belafonte requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from her until their August 6 hearing
- Belafonte, 43, also asked the court for a restraining order against Mel, claiming he believes that she 'wants him dead or thrown in jail'
- He asked for stepparent visitation for Mel's 11-year-old daughter Angel, who she had with Eddie Murphy, but Mel opposed
- The warring couple had also spent four hours in court on Friday - but were still unable to end their bitter deadlock on Monday
Mel B has slapped yet another restraining order on ex-husband Stephen Belafonte during their second day locked in a Los Angeles courtroom.
For four grueling hours Friday and another five hours Monday, the warring couple and their lawyers argued over financial issues and children but still couldn't end their bitter deadlock.
LA Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas ordered both parties to come back to court August 6 to try to settle their differences and reach agreement at long last.
Belafonte, 43, who helped raise 11-year-old Angel - Mel's daughter by Eddie Murphy - during his 10 year marriage to the former Spice Girl - has asked for step-parent visitation with the child.
But 43 year-old America's Got Talent star Mel - who showed up in court in a cleavage-revealing hot pink dress split almost to the crotch, and leopard skin spike heels - is vehemently opposing his efforts, refusing to let him see his stepdaughter.

Belafonte has also asked the court for a restraining order against Mel, claiming he believes that she 'wants him dead or thrown in jail.'
And in court Monday, Mel responded with her own request for a restraining order. which would require him not to harass her and to stay at least 100 yards away from her till the next hearing.
Mel's attorney, Taline Boyamian, claimed that during the closed-door hearing, Judge Juhas dismissed Belfonte's motion for a restraining order against Mel.
But the court clerk contradicted her, telling DailyMail.com: 'All the items before the court today - including both restraining orders, the step parent visitation request and other issues involving finances - have been continued till August 6.'
Belafonte and Mel's divorce was finalized last December after a bitter nine-month battle in which lurid tales of kinky sex, drug and alcohol abuse and allegations of domestic violence made headlines.
Despite their divorce being final more than six months ago, trying to settle complicated issues between them over children and money has dragged on through the summer, with Mel estimating that she's now spent more than $1 million in legal fees and owes another $800,000 to attorneys and accountants.

Mel - who has a six-year-old daughter, Madison with Belafonte - claims the long-drawn-out split with him has ruined her financially, she's more than $3million in the red and the IRS has started garnishing her America's Got Talent salary to pay off hundreds of thousand of dollars in back taxes she owes.
The couple's marriage fell apart in March last year when Brown filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, and she took out a domestic violence restraining order against Belafonte, accusing him of years of abuse against her, embezzling $10 million of her money and keeping her drugged during much of their marriage.
She also took out a civil harassment restraining order against the couple's blonde nanny Lorraine Gilles whom she branded a 'home wrecker' and 'prostitute' after she claimed she had an affair with Belafonte and conspired with him against her by threatening to release embarrassing sex videos of Mel B.
Over the following nine months intimate details were revealed about the couple's sex life during their marriage, including three-ways with German-born Gilles who claimed to have had a seven-year sexual relationship with Mel.
Belafonte and Gilles, 26, repeatedly denied Mel's charges against them and fought the restraining orders through 20-plus court hearings till, at last, the case was set to go to trial in November 2017.
The trial was expected to last two weeks, with more than 40 witnesses scheduled to give evidence, plus almost 2,000 exhibits including 56 videos, 20 of which were of a 'sexual nature' and one of which allegedly showed Mel filming her husband having sex with another woman.

But just hours before the trial was due to start, Mel and Belafonte reached a private settlement and Judge Juhas dissolved the domestic violence restraining order. Three days later Brown also dropped her restraining order against Gilles.
The divorce became final last December 15 with Mel agreeing to pay Belafonte $15,000 a month in spousal support until December 2020.
As part of their divorce settlement Mel and Belafonte are to split the proceeds of their former marital home in LA, worth an estimated $8 million.
