Brigitte Macron joined her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, in celebrating France's World Cup win with the team on Monday evening.
The 65-year-old wore a simple yet chic short-sleeve blue dress and nude suede pumps to receive the victorious Les Bleaus players at the Élysée Palace in Paris, the official resident of the president of France.
Brigitte was all smiles as she stood alongside her 40-year-old husband and the team as they proudly showed off the gold World Cup trophy during the ceremony.

France's first lady wore her bobbed blonde hair loose around her shoulders, and she accessorized her sleek dress, which is believed to be custom Louis Vuitton, with a watch, a white gold cuff, and diamond bands on her fingers.
Macron donned a navy suit and tie as well as a red, white, and blue rubber bracelet that matches France's tricolor flag.
The country's national football (or soccer in the U.S.) team beat Croatia 4-2 in Sunday's World Cup final at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow to win the tournament for a second time — 20 years after their 1998 triumph on home soil.
An estimated 500,000 fans spread along the Champs-Élysées in Paris and waved tricolor flags as they awaited their victorious national team's return on Monday.

"Allez les Bleus!" Or, in English, "Go Blue!" That's the chant heard around the world as the French national soccer team won the World Cup yesterday. To celebrate, everybody, and we mean everybody, wore blue to the festivities in Paris on Monday. Brigitte Macron, France's First Lady, was front and center wearing the favored hue with a recognizable top-stich "V" on the front of her short-sleeve shift dress. It's a signature of Louis Vuitton and Brigitte is known for her loyalty to the French fashion house.

After touching down at Charles de Gaulle Airport earlier in the afternoon, France's squad was treated to a spectacular welcome as French fighter jets sailed over the famous avenue with plumes of red, white and blue smoke to celebrate the World Cup success.
The team paraded on the fabled boulevard at 5 p.m. before the star-studded reception at the Élysée Palace.
Brigitte and her husband applauded the winning football team upon their arrival, and they greeted French Football Federation President Noel Le Graet and France's coach Didier Deschamps with hugs while team captain Hugo Lloris held the World Cup trophy.
France's first couple seemed to be in jovial spirits as the posed with the players on the steps of their residence.

There was certainly a party atmosphere in the nation's capital on Monday, and at one point Brigitte proudly held the World Cup trophy over her head with the help of footballer Paul Pogba.

The wives and girlfriends of the victorious French team were also smiling as they arrived with the players for a star-studded party at the Élysée Palace.
The women, who brought the glamour in cocktail dresses and chic two-pieces, were seen waving to excited fans before disappearing into the official residence of the president.

The French WAGs looked in high spirits as they ascended the red carpeted steps of the palace in an array of effortlessly elegant ensembles.
Rachel Legrain-Trapani, the girlfriend of the football team's defender Benjamin Pavard, put on a chic display as she arrived at the bash.
The former Miss France donned an open baby blue blazer to show off her white lace camisole and matching blue shorts, topping off the look with studded sandals and a matching bag.
Meanwhile Erika Griezmann, wife of striker Antoine Grizmann, opted for an asymmetric white dress and pearl-encrusted sandals when arriving with their little girl Mia.

On Sunday night the Eiffel Tower flashed 1998-2018 to mark France's two World Cup titles.
The Arc de Triomph was awash in the national colors, lit with the rooster, the faces of the winning team and the words 'Proud to be Blue (French).'
In honor of the victory, several Paris metro stations had their names changed on Monday morning, with Champs-Élysées Clemenceau renamed Deschamps-Élysées, after coach Didier Deschamps.
The station of Bercy also has its name changed to Bercy les Bleus, which sounds like Merci les Bleus.
