Mandy Moore lets her natural beauty shine through as she goes makeup free for health spa visit

On Friday she made her first tentative steps back into recording her own music.

But there was no such timidity from Mandy Moore when it came to stepping out sans makeup on Sunday.

The 34-year-old singer/actress let her natural beauty shine through as she exited a health spa in Los Angeles.

The This Is Us actress kept things casual in a checkered black and white dress for the outing.

She paired the summery garment with leather sliders and carried a handbag under one arm and a phone in her hand.

Moore's dark tresses were pulled back tightly in a bun for the excursion.

It's been nine years since she released an album.

But on Friday, Mandy took a step towards reviving her music career when she laid down a demo at a recording studio in Los Angeles.

'Getting back to it. It’s time. I miss it,' the Saved actress said on Instagram. 'I’m not scared anymore. No more excuses.'

Moore added: 'No more allowing someone else's insecurities to dictate my relationship to music and singing.'

Her reference to 'insecurities' may have been a direct dig at ex-husband and musician Ryan Adams, whom she was married to from 2009-2016.

In June, Mandy told Howard Stern that Adams was 'obsessed with himself' and unable to 'be a partner or husband.'

The This Is Us star is now engaged to Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith.
