Lily James admits she would love to play a bad girl before SLAMMING Hollywood's gender pay gap during striking shoot for Allure
She looked every inch the leading lady at the premiere of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in London on Monday night.
And Lily James proved it was her time to shine, as she stunned on the August cover of Allure magazine where she candidly discussed the pitfalls of getting typecast, as well as the impact of gender disparity in Hollywood.
With her acting repertoire boasting wholesome roles, the British actress, 29, admitted that there was a 'goodness to them she wanted to get away from' - no doubt, hinting that she wanted to take on a grittier, bad girl character.

And while Lily has made a name for herself with roles in movies such as Cinderella and Bay Driver, she has expressed her desire to show off her darker side.
Speaking to the publication, she revealed: 'I’ve just had this feeling that I can’t get rid of recently - and sometimes what you think is right for you is total nonsense anyway.
'I’ve wanted to step away from playing characters that feel quite honest and open. There’s a goodness to them that I want to get away from,' she revealed.

Lily stated: 'It’s not just actresses moaning for more money. It’s about the direct impact on our communities, and that extends to all things with diversity and women.'
She also admitted that it was still a huge problem in Hollywood, confessing: 'It’s got to be fixed. I’ve got to get more involved.'
As someone who is very regularly seen spilling out of clubs and documenting her personal life, Lily also detailed her struggle with social media.

'I want to be an actor and then have my own life be private. But then I also realise the importance of that platform. Why not use it and for the better?
'And why not really become passionate about something you think could make a difference? For me, I think a lot of the people who follow me might be young girls.
'If I feel like I could be some sort of useful voice to them, then that’s my responsibility and it’s worth taking on,' Lily revealed.

The newest film follows Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) as she tries to run her mother Donna's (Meryl Streep) villa in Greece whilst pregnant, as she finds out more about her past.
In the film, Lily plays young Donna during her infamous time with her three love interests Sam (Jeremy Irvine), Harry (Hugh Skinner), and Bill (Josh Dylan).
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again 'goes back and forth in time to show how relationships forged in the past resonate in the present,' according to Deadline.
Her handsome boyfriend Matt Smith, 35, looked dapper in a taupe double breasted suit with dark buttons.
