Cardi B treated herself to a tasty lunch in a salon chair one day before welcoming her daughter Kulture Kiari.

The 25-year-old star was spotted with no make up on as she had her braids taken out in Sula's Dominican Hair Salon in Atlanta, Georgia, on Monday July 9.

Cleaning business owner Angela Duckworth, 45, said the heavily pregnant rapper entered the salon at 1.30pm with husband Offset, who was carrying her designer Balenciaga bag.

Angela snapped images of the musician as she relaxed in the salon on Chamblee Tucker Road after Offset left to return to the couple's Atlanta home.

Pregnant Cardi chatted to her hairdresser in Spanish as she tucked into rice and beans from a nearby restaurant.

While at the salon, Angela said the star Facetimed a friend about a doctor's appointment and mentioned that she was two centimeters dilated.

She welcomed daughter Kulture Kiari hours later on Tuesday - Cardi's first child and hip-hop artist Offset's fourth.

Angela said: 'I was in the salon with a friend while she got her hair done when a couple came in.

'At first I didn't think anything of them, until my friend told me it was Cardi B and Offset.

'He was holding her bags for her, one of them was a designer bag and the other was a plastic bag with food.

'He told her he had to go and let the cleaning lady into their house and he would be back to pick her up later.

'She immediately began tucking into her lunch. She was eating some kind of Spanish food. It looked like rice and beans.

'She came in with a multi-colored scarf on her head and was getting her cornrows out.

'She was getting her hair washed and blown out after.

'It's not a fancy place, I never thought I would see anyone famous there.

On Friday Cardi B gave her fans her first update on parenthood, admitting being a mother demands her attention 'all day and all night.'

The rapper posted on Instagram, apologizing to her followers for the lack of replies to the congratulatory messages as she gets to grips with the demands of her daughter.

'Thank you everybody for the congrats we really appreciated❤️. Thank you to family and friends that’s been hitting me up checking on me,' she wrote.

'It’s been a little hard for me to reply back cause this mommy job requires full day, all day, all night attention. I love you guys. Thanking all my fans as well for the love and support. I love you guys !!I’ll try to post more often.'

The new mother also shared an update on her Twitter page, admitting she now understands the importance of letting a newborn snooze.

'When parents say “if you wake the baby up YOU PUTTING HER BACK TO SLEEP!” I feel that,' she quipped.

The Be Careful hitmaker, 25, has reportedly already splashed out $7,000 on Kulture with her nursery designed with items from high end West Hollywood baby boutique, Couture Kids on Robertson.
