This summer low-slung hipster bikini bottoms have been replaced by super-high-cut silhouettes that soar above the hip.

The daring trend – spear-headed by Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski and Kourtney Kardashian – instantly elongates the look of the legs, but it also requires some preparation.

FEMAIL gets the scoop from Laser Skin Specialist and Co-founder of SKINNEY Medspa, Adriano Martino, on how to seamlessly pull of the look.

The 22-year-old has been spotted several times wearing high-cut styles from the popular label.

On June 23 she flaunted her statuesque frame in a yellow knot front two-piece ($136) and then again on July 4 in a white tube bikini ($136).

In early July, the 27-year-old wore the 'Neptune' polka dot bikini ($150) while yachting with the girls in Mykonos, and yesterday, the video vixen slipped into the 'Swami's' one-piece ($160) to pose for a few Instagram snaps.

Koutney Kardashian, 39, enjoyed a day at sea on July 6 clad in a Normal Kamali white one-piece.

She gave her 65 million social media followers a glimpse of her pert posterior in a floral thong bikini that sat above the hip.

With this silhouette being so popular this season, there's no better time to consider laser hair removal.

'It's fast, easy and effective,' said Adriana. 'With advanced technology you can be treated on your lunch break (15 minutes) with no pain or downtime.'

While removing all unwanted hair will take an average of 6-8 sessions (4-8 weeks apart), the removal is permanent.

'We call something like this the "extended bikini", shared Adriana. 'It's not a Brazilian, you can keep a little hair in that private area if you choose.'

Though removing all the unwanted hair will take several months, 'you're destroying 10-20% of the hair with each session, so you're still going to be in a better position than if you didn't start the treatment at all,' explained Skinney Medspa's Director of Operations, Lindsay Malachowski.

'After the service, your skin will be smoother, you'll have less bumps and less ingrown hairs. Every month, you'll notice a reduction in hair.'

You can shave (not wax) between sessions. Lindsay suggests getting the service done around 14 days before a beach vacation. 'You don't want to be in the sun for at least two weeks after treatment.'

Take note: 'Laser hair removal technology will not work on blonde or red hairs or anyone with grey or white hair,' added Adriana.
