'When you have that feeling they're out to get you': Terri Irwin shares a cheeky snap of her daughter Bindi holding 'Bindii weed killer' at a hardware store

A trip to the local hardware store inspired a rather morbid joke from the Irwin family on Monday.

Terri Irwin, the widow of 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve, shared a photo to Twitter of their daughter Bindi, 19, looking rather confused while holding a container of herbicide called 'Bindii Kill'.

The 53-year-old conservationist captioned the snap: 'When you have that feeling they're out to get you...'

Last month, Bindi paid tribute to her parents' marriage on what would have been their 26th wedding anniversary.

She captioned a throwback snap of Terri and Steve: 'Soulmates. Forever. Happy Anniversary to my incredible parents. I love you so much.'

Steve died after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb in 2006.

Terri was left to raise eight-year-old Bindi and two-year-old son Robert as a single mother following Steve's death.

She has previously admitted she still feels close to Steve, refusing to remarry or even go on date.

Terri, who hails from from Oregon, met Steve in 1991 when she was visiting wildlife rehabilitation facilities in Australia.

Speaking to People magazine in February, Terri admitted she wasn't looking for a new partner, explaining: 'I've already had my happily ever after.'

'I think it’s wonderful when people who have lost someone find love again, but I'm not personally looking,' she added.

'And I haven’t been on a date in 27 years.'
